An Anonymous Angel in Worcester County

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which means it is a big month for Pawsitively4Pink as they continue their mission to support low-income underserved women in Worcester County who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Pawsitively4Pink kicked off their Breast Cancer Awareness fundraising campaign at the beginning of October and the response has been overwhelming. They would especially like to deeply express their gratitude to anonymous heroin in Worcester who donated a staggering $20,000.

Pawsitively 4 Pink Announces Breast Cancer Awareness Month Fundraiser

Pawsitively 4 Pink is pleased to announce it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month Fundraiser. The fundraiser is scheduled for October and will run the entire month. It will be located on Pawsitively 4 Pink's Facebook page. The event will raise money to financially support low-income, underserved women in the Worcester County Area, who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Pawsitively 4 Pink hopes that the month-long fundraiser will help raise awareness and the money needed to support more women with the unforeseen costs associated with breast cancer.

Golf Tournament Raises $20,500 to Support Women in Worcester County with Breast Cancer

Pawsitively 4 Pink held their first annual Putting with Paws Golf Tournament fundraiser event. The event was held this past Friday, July 19th, at Leicester Country Club. The tournament included various sponsorship opportunities where friends and family members could honor their loved ones who have had breast cancer or who have passed from breast cancer.

When Barbara Mayer was checking through Facebook, a group popped up on her feed. It was just the group she was looking for as the 64-year-old began treatment for her second battle with breast cancer. The group was Pawsitively 4 Pink, a Central Massachusetts-based non-profit created to help financially supplement low-income and underserved women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Michelle Power is the president of Pawsitively 4 Pink, an organization that aims to improve the lives of women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are facing financial challenges as a result. Power’s efforts grew out of the success of her apparel company, Gosh Doggit, when she realized she could use her profits to help women who were struggling financially to manage missed days of work, medical expenses, and transportation issues. Pawsitively 4 Pink is holding its inaugural fundraiser Saturday, March 2 at The White Eagle in Worcester.
